For an Impact-Oriented, Participatory and Innovative Organisation
In my role as policy officer and manager, I contributed to increasing efficiency and effectiveness within the Austrian Federal Administration. Through my work with international organisations and European institutions, I was able to learn about and compare different approaches to public administration and governance, and apply these insights to my own practice. As an international project evaluator, I have continuously sharpened my perspective through exposure to international best practices.
Der sektorübergreifende Austausch mit Akteur:innen aus Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft ist für die Umsetzung komplexer Initiativen zentral. Besonders prägend war die Gründung und langjährige Leitung von Österreichs erstem Innovationslabor für den öffentlichen Sektor. Als Knotenpunkt in einem europäischen Innovationsnetzwerk konnte das Labor zahlreiche anspruchsvolle Projekte an der Schnittstelle von Verwaltung, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft realisieren.
My practical experience is also reflected in my academic and teaching work. I have published white papers, manuals and articles, developed teaching materials, and work as a lecturer in the fields of performance management, innovation management, e-government and knowledge management.
As a lecturer and speaker, I have been sharing my knowledge of effective, citizen-oriented and innovative public administration for many years, including in European contexts. In addition, I have designed and moderated events, including Austria’s largest innovation conference for the public sector. These formats focus on interactive, learning-oriented experiences that convey knowledge and enable exchange.
