In my role as a head of department and policy officer, I have made a significant contribution to increasing efficiency and effectiveness in the Austrian federal administration. Through my work, which has taken me to numerous international organisations and European institutions, I have been able to learn from the best. As an international project evaluator, I was able to continuously hone my expertise based on global best practices.
The cross-sectoral exchange with stakeholders from science, business and civil society has proven to be essential for the implementation of complex initiatives. I am particularly proud of the founding and long-standing management of Austria's first innovation laboratory for the public sector. As a hub in the European innovation network, the lab and its dedicated team have realised several pioneering projects. In my consultancy work, I have supported numerous public institutions in the development and implementation of change projects.
My practical experience is also reflected in my academic work, where I have published white papers, manuals and articles, developed teaching materials and worked as a lecturer in the fields of performance management, innovation management, e-government and knowledge management. As a lecturer and speaker, I have been sharing my knowledge of effective, citizen-centred and innovative administration throughout Europe for many years. In addition, I have proven my talent for creating interactive and educational experiences by conceptualising and moderating events, including the largest innovation conference for the public sector in Austria.
